Born in the Alps,
raised on trails

I'm Mario — a certified mountain guide from Gorenjska, the alpine heart of Slovenia. I grew up hiking these paths as a child, and now I share their magic with travelers from around the world.

My tours are never rushed. We move at your pace, pause at the viewpoints that take your breath away, and discover the hidden corners most visitors never find — a secluded waterfall, a shepherd's hut with a story, a summit at golden hour.

Every experience is tailored to you. Whether you're an experienced trekker or stepping onto a mountain path for the first time, I'll make sure it's the highlight of your trip.

Questions

Comfortable hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing (layers), a water bottle (min. 1L), sunscreen, and a small backpack. I provide trekking poles, snacks, and alpine safety equipment. I'll send you a detailed packing list after booking.

Safety is my priority. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reschedule or choose a sheltered alternative route. Most light rain actually makes the forests and waterfalls more magical — but storms and high winds mean we adjust plans.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour. Within 48 hours, I offer a full credit for rescheduling. Life happens — I'm flexible and will work with you to find a solution.

Not at all. I offer tours for all fitness levels — from leisurely lakeside walks to challenging summit climbs. Just let me know your experience level and I'll recommend a route that's right for you.

I can pick you up from your accommodation in Bled or nearby at no extra cost. For other locations in Gorenjska, we can arrange transport for a small fee. We'll discuss logistics when you book.
